On this day trip from São Paulo to Santos, you'll discover the iconic port city of Santos and neighboring São Vicente, the first town founded in Brazil. Don't miss it!
We'll meet at the meeting point you select when booking, and from there, we'll head out toward the coast of São Paulo state.
After about 2 hours, we'll arrive at our first stop of the day: the city of Santos. We'll start with a visit to the stunning Coffee Exchange Palace, home to the Coffee Museum. Here, you'll learn just how huge a role "black gold" played in Brazil's economy, society, and history.
Next, we'll set off on a guided walk through Santos' old town to the Pelé Museum, housed in the restored Casarões do Valongo. We'll dive into the career, achievements, and memorabilia of the legendary soccer player.
From there, we'll head to Gonzaga Beach, Santos' main beach, where you'll have 1 hour and 15 minutes of free time to explore on your own. Stroll along the world's longest beachfront garden, relax on the white sand, and take in the coastal views.
We'll continue with a quick stop at the Ilha Porchat lookout in São Vicente, one of the best spots for photos of the coastline. Once we've got our souvenir shots, we'll sit down to a delicious buffet lunch at the well-known Restaurante Ti Maria, right on the waterfront.
With our batteries recharged, we'll end the day on a high note by riding the historic funicular up to the top of Monte Serrat. Once at the top, you'll have 1 hour of free time to enjoy incredible views over the port, the canals, and the city of Santos.
Finally, we'll head back to the starting point, where we'll say our goodbyes after a 10-hour day trip.
